Getting Ready for Christmas

Christmas is my favorite Holiday!!!  We always like to start decorating the weekend after Thanskgiving.  I am so lucky to have two teenagers that can help me put up the tree and decorate.  We were laughing and having fun, talking about when they were younger and how all the ornaments would always be in one section of the tree and I always had to move them around and of course the Christmas Music was blasting!! :o)
Now my son is taller than I am and my daughter, well she's not taller yet, but she is just about as tall as I am, which isn't a big accomplishment considering that I am only 5'2"...lol!!!!  I wanted to share some pictures of us decorating.

...and of course we had to make time to play with our kitty Jasper. :o)

Thanksgiving Weekend...

This year for Thanksgiving I didn't have to cook, WOOHOO!!!  I really don't mind cooking for the holiday's, but I must admit that it is so nice when I don't have to. :o)  My dad and step-mother came down from Arkansas and spent the weekend with us.  We were all invited for Thanksgiving dinner at my brother-in-laws house.  I just realized today that I didn't even get a picture of the Turkey...oh well, I did get some good pics and wanted to share them with everyone.  I am so Thankful for my Wonderful Family!!!

This is GREAT News!!!  Just received word from Corporate that ALL A-size stamp sets are now the new lower price of $7.95 US / $9.25 CAN!!!!  You will see this same low price in the Spring 2010 Idea Book, which I can't wait to share with everyone...the new products are AWESOME!!!!

This was after Blaine's Christmas Concert tonight at the School. I can't believe how tall he has gotten. They grow up so fast!!!  He has been in Band for three years...hopefully he will stick with it!  I was really amazed at how much better they sounded this year compared to last.  Even comparing them from earlier in the year...practice really does make a difference!!

Well I did it now...

I really don't know what I did, but I really hurt my back today.  I went to work this morning and I was feeling fine.  After lunch I came back and sat down for a while then I decided to get up...  Uggghhh I could barely stand up because my lower back hurt so bad!!  It continued throughout the afternoon and was even worse by the time I left tonight.  I couldn't stand up straight for the pain!  When I got home my husband was so sweet!!  He made my dinner and brought me some medicine and an ice pack.  For those of you that don't know me that well, I had lower back surgery in 2004...well it is 5 years later and I'm having flashbacks of the pain that I went through prior to surgery...not very good!  I am feeling better now, but please keep your fingers crossed that it doesn't get worse.

Christmas Card Workshop...

It took me long enough but I finally got around to getting some pictures of the ladies working on their Christmas Cards at my Workshop last month. We really had a FUN day creating these cards!!
